One
of the most photogenic cities in the world, Paris
really delivers on the holiday-snap front. From perfect panoramas
of the winding Seine to spectacular skyline shots over dove-grey
mansard roofs, even amateur photographers can capture the French
capital’s romantic allure with the quick flash of a smartphone.
We’ve put in the legwork, exploring its countless boulevards and
side streets, to pick out the best restaurants for your Instagram
feed. From traditional 19th-century watering holes to sprawling
plant-filled warehouses, these are the places to go with an iPhone
firmly in hand.

A sprawling 65sq m warehouse on the banks of Canal Saint-Martin,
Le Comptoir Général bursts with exotic plants, shabby-chic velvet
armchairs and string lanterns that hang from the building’s
unusually high ceilings (and are ripe for that perfectly moody
Insta shot). Ideal for all manner of occasions – from its
family-friendly Sunday brunch to evening cocktails and
end-of-the-party nightcaps – Comptoir (as it’s known to locals) was
dreamed up by Aurélien Laffon as a place to transport visitors
across continents. Be sure to explore the whole, glorious space,
from the kitschy, 1950s-Hollywood-style bar to the main room’s
tropical Caribbean paradise and the patio’s leafy
Mediterranean-village feel.

If you’re on the hunt for the ideal palm tree aesthetic, head to
Alcazar. Strung with fronds of all kinds, this warmly lit
green-and-white space will have you feeling like you’ve stepped
into a sophisticated urban jungle. To check out the restaurant from
above, head to the equally leafy upstairs bar (complete with a
requisite neon-pink wall sign).

The millennial dream, this bubblegum-pink and aqua
fantasy is what #instagoals are made of. Once you’ve finished
devouring your panko-crusted portobello burger, snap away between
sips of your equally photogenic Oreo milkshake.
